Whether it’s in the classroom or on the football field, there are always opportunities to be a leader. When the opportunity presents itself, stepping up and being the leader is always the best choice. However, being a good leader is a tough task. Many believe in the misconception that being a leader means that your voice is louder than everyone else’s. Being a leader means that you are always open to hearing and improving upon others ideas. As a leader it is extremely important that you can give advice to others on your team. Stepping up and delegating out different tasks to the members of your team are some of the key aspects in being a good leader.

Many believe that to be a leader you must have a title like National Ambassador but, no matter who you are, you are just as capable of making a change in the health and wellness of our generation as anyone else is. A true leader never belittles anyone and they always have confidence in their ideas. Being confident is one of the most important attributes of a leader because it provides them with the extra support they need to carry out ideas and assist their team.

“Leadership is about positively impacting others through living by example and enabling a continuous rippling effect.” This quote perfectly sums up the real meaning of leadership. As a leader we should always “lead by example” and positively impact others through our constant encouraging behaviors. With our positive actions and behaviors we should set off a continuous chain reaction of innovative changes which, will create more and more leaders. It only takes one person with enough courage and motivation to create a million more dedicated leaders!

That’s totally right! Sometimes being a leader can be hard, especially thinking of ideas to improve fitness, but at the same time, it’s a piece of cake.

This website is amazing I love moving around a lot. But when I’m leader I treat my team fairly, unlike some of my friends. Should I be with this mean leading group?

I agree with mtrack9 but some times it can get frustrating being a SCHOOL AMBASSADOR cause you have so much stuff to worry about like: when you try to get your friends to listen to you when you tell them about FUEL UP TO PLAY 60,When you try to encourage your friends to join FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 so the can stay active and have a healthy lifestyle and the they tell you that they either don’t feel like doing it or they tell you they’re just not going to do it or they say they’ll do it but when you ask around nobody has even heard of it so that tells you that your friend either forgot about it or he/she just let you down.

Hi Nadya! This is absolutely right. It may be hard but it isn’t impossible to be a leader. Being a leader is hard after knowing that their are so many responsibilities but when you complete those responsibilities, it doesn’t seem as hard as you think it would be!
