When we heard about the Great American Milk Drive, we felt that our school could contribute. So we planned a Change Challenge. This event took place for one week, and students brought in loose change and bills to their teachers to donate to our cause. The winning classroom brought in almost $120, and the eighth grade narrowly beat out the seventh grade by $20.
As a reward for collecting the most money, the winning classroom received a special snack. Also the eighth grade got to dress their grade’s Vice Principal for a day. Overall, we collected $456.64 that got donated to the Great American Milk Drive, who will donate milk to people who are less fortunate than us.
