Our school district’s hard work and dedication to the FUTP 60 program paid off big recently when the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board awarded us a visit from Brett Hundley, the Green Bay Packers’ backup Quarterback!
Some of us got to greet him when he arrived in the parking lot, and enter the school with him as our high school band played for him. Three of us ambassadors began preparation two weeks beforehand after we found out that we would have the honor of introducing him.
We had an assembly where he praised us on our “brain break” dance exercises (which he participated in). We also demonstrated our smoothie bike where we use a bicycle to power a blender and make smoothies. During the assembly we had him try a smoothie which was made from a recipe created by an elementary school FUTP 60 team in our district. They named the smoothie “Hurricane Hundley”. We also had a chance to ask him a few questions and he took a group selfie with everyone which I later saw he posted on his Instagram account!
This visit motivated our FUTP 60 Ambassadors to work even harder promoting FUTP 60 in our schools and community! Thank you very much to FUTP60 and Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board for this awesome experience!
