When I entered the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium, I was blown away by the size of the stadium and all the surrounding stores. The Patriots are my FAVORITE team! Right before the Patriots and the Eagles faced off, all of the local Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassadors walked onto the field and took lots of pictures. We were able to watch the players warming up. They were enormous, towering over me like I was a toddler! On the way out onto the field Alan Branch, Defensive Tackle, #97 for the Patriots gave me a high five. That was awesome! We walked to right into the middle of the field for the National Anthem.
When we got to our seats, it was 35 degrees and I was cold! In order to stay warm, I had to do jumping jacks during the time outs! It was thrilling to see myself and all the other Ambassadors on the Jumbo Tron. Seeing all of the Ambassadors at the game made me think of how great it is that I made friends with so many kids at the Fuel Up to Play 60 Summit in Chicago, and I get to keep seeing them at events like this one. I hope we stay friends for the future.
Even though the Patriots did not win, I really enjoyed being at the game and seeing the players work so hard. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. Thank you to Fuel Up to Play 60 and the New England Patriots!
