This month, I gave a speech to almost one hundred important people such as a Senator, multiple CEOs, a local pediatrician, and the superintendent of a school district in Arizona! Now to some this may not seem like a big thing, but for me it was a huge accomplishment! The Dairy Council of Arizona offered me the chance to do a presentation on Fuel Up to Play 60 at a GENYOUth Town Hall meeting held at the Arizona Cardinals training facilities, and I just couldn’t pass it up.

On that day, after hanging out with Phoenix’s Fox 10 news and Calais Campbell (NFL Defensive End for the Arizona Cardinals), I walked into a room full of strangers and spoke about something I’m passionate about: Fuel Up to Play 60. I talked about my own experiences, breakfast, and the opportunities this program can provide. I’ve done things I never dreamed I could thanks to Fuel Up to Play 60, and I’m not alone. Over the last few years I’ve seen students do things monumentally bigger than even giving speeches!

I haven’t even gotten to my smaller victories. As I mentioned, Calais Campbell made an appearance, and Fox News responded with a lot of clips of Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassadors, plus I got to record a short interview. From there they hauled me off to an auditory room to record a 30 and 60 second radio commercial!

It was a whirlwind of activity that I will never forget. I am incredibly thankful to Fuel Up to Play 60, the Dairy Council of Arizona, GENYOUth and the Cardinals’ CEO for giving me these memories!
