Recently as Illinois State Ambassador I attended a photo shoot with Chicago Bears Defensive End Corey Wootton. It was fun taking pictures and fooling around. When I walked into Halas Hall (which was where the shoot was), it was really amazing because there were cameras all around, I felt like a movie star!
My mom and I were able to walk around Halas Hall while we were waiting for Corey, and also got to see the history of the Chicago Bears – we learned a lot about them. When we finally got up to the shoot, I saw ice cream on the table and I was wondering what it was for. I soon figured out when they were taking pictures of Corey that it was used for making milk mustaches. It was funny because I always wondered what made the mustache!
Then it was my turn to take pictures. I was worried about too many things, like if my hair was OK, and if my smile was big enough, but the pictures actually turned out pretty good. I smiled as big as I could, but it eventually started to hurt so we started taking breaks to stretch our faces. I was really surprised on how many times I had to change clothes though; I wonder how much celebrities go through during one photo shoot! After the event I got to pick a picture I wanted and I was sent it in the mail. It was fun to show off the picture to my friends and family. They seemed to enjoy it as much as I did.
