My Fuel Up to Play 60 story is about the most amazing trip I’ve ever been on. I was always very active in the program and I still am. My fellow members and I do many Plays to help spread the word about Fuel Up to Play 60 and I track my healthy eating and physical activity all the time. My school got a grant from Fuel Up to Play 60 and with it we bought our own milk machine to sell milk to all of the students in our school. We promote healthy eating and physical activity with posters around the school and we are starting to promote eating breakfast at our breakfast program.
I was shocked when I found out that I was the winner of the Super Bowl Experience for earning so many Points. I had the chance to meet with some representatives of the GENYOUth Foundation and to share my story with them while I was in New York. They were very generous and gave my dad and I tickets to go see The Lion King on Broadway the night before the game. The game was so exciting to be at! Even though the Broncos didn’t win, I still had such an amazing time. I can’t believe that I was lucky enough to win a trip to the Super Bowl. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I’ll probably never go on a trip quite as exciting!
