Fuel Up To Play 60 has inspired me to eat healthy and stay active all school year. I play football in the fall and lacrosse in the winter, spring and summer. I am on a recreational lacrosse league and a travel team. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a college coach. They have taught my siblings and I that we have to try our best in the classroom and on the field. I have been on the Principal’s Honor Roll 2 quarters this year and on Honor Roll 1 quarter (I got 1 B).
I like to log onto the Fuel Up to Play 60 website to track my healthy eating and to try to win prizes for my school. We have an awesome walking trail called the “Cheetah Trail” that our PE teacher created for us. I’ve also tried to promote breakfast for my classmates and physical activity breaks.
My older brother and sister play sports in college now. I’ve learned from them that hard work in the classroom is just as important as hard work on the field. My goal is to play college football, earn my degree, and play football for the NFL. I believe that Fuel Up to Play 60 provides kids like me with strategies to eat healthy and stay active. Finally, I encourage all kids to be the best they can be in the classroom and on the field!
