Being a Cowboys fan in the state of Wisconsin doesn’t exactly sit well with Packer fans but I am up for the challenge, especially this year considering the Cowboy’s first round draft pick from Ohio State was Ezekiel Elliott. Last year I was saddened by the departure of DeMarco Murray to the Philadelphia Eagles, however with the arrival of Mr. Elliott I’m excited for this year’s rushing offense. Hopefully it will take some pressure off of the other new rookie quarterback from Mississippi State, Dak Prescott, in the absence of Tony Romo due to his latest back injury. Although I am very excited to see what the triple threat can do!

My second favorite team is the Seattle Seahawks and I’m interested to watch how they recover from their huge loss of an outstanding running back Marshawn Lynch, who hung up his cleats after last year’s season. Last year, when Seattle acquired Jimmy Graham from the New Orleans Saints, I was enthused to see how he and Russell Wilson would connect on the playing field but sadly with his injury his season was cut short. This year should be different due to his recovery.

I look forward to watching David Bruton Jr. continue his journey in the NFL as he went from former Super Bowl Champions Denver Broncos to the Washington Redskins. I was honored to meet him at the 2014 Summit in Arlington, Texas.

No matter who is playing, I always look forward to NFL Sundays as a way to get together with family and friends, eat healthy snacks and enjoy some football!
