The 2019 Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador Summit offered students a chance to win Cleveland Browns tickets as part of their First & Ten movement, which encourages everyone to pledge to “give 10” hours of volunteering in their community. I entered my community service hours and got chosen as the winner! Every time I volunteer I get this excited feeling and always wonder what else I can do to help out. Helping and being able to see firsthand the difference I’m making makes me proud and determined. Something that I have noticed is volunteering is fun, but when you have a good group of people with you it makes it even more enjoyable. Not only are you doing a good thing, but you’re involving more people!
My dad is a huge Browns fan and I was so excited to tell him that we were going to the game together. The whole day was perfect, including the weather! I received four tickets for me and my family to go and the seats were great -we were so close to the field! Before the kickoff my dad and I went on the field and were treated like VIPs. When they kicked off, I ran onto the field and grabbed the tee then stood next to Chomps to be on the big screen. We went back to our seats to sit with the rest of my family and cheered on the Browns! Thank you FUTP 60 and the Cleveland Browns for the opportunity to be so close to many amazing athletes and cheer on our favorite football team!
