On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there was no school. My schedule was pretty simple: wake up late and go to an interview! I was so excited for this opportunity, thanks to the New England Dairy Council for making this happen!

When I first heard about this radio interview I learned that one of the stations recording studios was in a camera shop right where the citizens of Concord can walk by and see me talking into a huge microphone. Overall it was awesome! I got to speak about my involvement in youth wellness movements, what it means to be a Fuel Up to Play 60 National Ambassador, my public speaking career, and how Fuel Up to Play 60 has impacted my life. Because there was so much to talk about, the radio interview itself will be 45 minutes long!

What I really can draw from this experience is: Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there, some people think that kids can’t make a difference… show them that we can!
