Working Together to Help Students Achieve and Succeed for a Lifetime!
I was invited to attend an Interstate Leadership Learning Exchange (ILLE) hosted by the American Dairy Association North East (ADANE) on March 22, 2017. The ILLE took place at the Lincoln Financial Field, the Home of the Philadelphia Eagles!
The mission of the ILLE is to collaboratively collect and share information, best practices, and opportunities to help students achieve and succeed. The ILLE membership consists of school administrators, teachers, students, parents, community leaders, healthcare professionals and others dedicated to health and wellness of school-age students and young adults. The ILLE includes schools in and around New York City, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.
I got the opportunity to share with this diverse group of stakeholders about the positive influence of Fuel Up to Play 60 on students by highlighting some of my activities and accomplishments as a FUTP 60 Student Ambassador. I was amazed and encouraged by the enthusiasm shared by the adults working collaboratively to help students achieve success!
Overall, it was a great experience! I would like to thank ADANE for giving me the opportunity to share and learn, and for ensuring the inclusion of the student voice in the Learning Exchange!
