On the first day of the Student Ambassador Summit, I got pulled aside to be told I am going to be in a video that introduces the new recruits for the Fuel Up to Play 60 NFL Team. So, I got in a van and headed to a local elementary school to find a classroom full of NFL players. However, it was not your average room full of NFL players. It was full of other Ambassadors, like me, that get to wear the jerseys for and act like the NFL players involved with the program. I got to be Ameer Abdullah, who is a Running Back for the Detroit Lions. There were other players like Michael Johnson, Ali Marpet, Barry Church, Devin McCourty, etc. that students got to pretend to be. Everyone who was involved with this production was so helpful, enthusiastic, and encouraging. There was a camera crew, script, specific lighting, and lots of takes that had to be done. At the end of a long shoot, we all had lunch and got to keep the jerseys! Some people, including myself, traded jerseys for our favorite players (although I am more of a Patriots and Seahawks fan haha!). It was such a great opportunity, and I had so much fun acting like a NFL player for the video.

I was invited to participate in a unique experience on the first day of the 2017 Student Ambassador Summit. It was an opportunity to take part in a video shoot where I had to act as a NFL player. I was very excited to play the role of Cameron Heyward, Defensive End for the Pittsburgh Steelers. All the students who participated were asked to be part of a roll call where the students would answer when their assigned player was called. The goal of this video shoot was to introduce current and new NFL Ambassadors to the Fuel Up to Play 60 team. To make the video more interesting, the students were asked to act like the players during the roll call. It was a great experience and one that I will cherish forever.

This year on the first day at the Fuel Up to Play 60 National Student Ambassador Summit I had the opportunity to participate in an NFL video shoot. It was a great learning experience because there were professional photographers, videographers, and a director. I was happy to be one of a small handful of kids to be selected for the two hour video shoot. I was given the role of Ryan Succop, the Kicker for the Tennessee Titans. We had simple lines and were told to have a good time. Overall, it was a lot of fun and I would hands down want to do it again if given the opportunity.
