The four days that I spent a Purdue University was jam-packed full of fun and learning. I participated in a smoothie blend-off and my team won. My prize was a Waring double waffle-maker. A few of the other things I got to do were a visit to Fair Oaks Farm, a talent show (I tap danced), a burger bash, and I got to play FLAG Football at the Indianapolis Colts Training Center.

At the Summit, I learned about “making your mark” from NFL players, National Dairy Council members, dairy farmers, and GENYOUth. The main thing from the Summit that I want to take back to my school is leadership. Youth need to have the courage to step outside of the box and take charge. By working with a team, you can go above and beyond. I hope that I can make my mark and inspire others to go after their dreams. I can truly say that the days I spent at the summit were the best four days of my life. I am excited to share all of my learning with the team at my school.
