You are probably wondering what Milksicles are: that you’ll find out in a little bit. First let’s get to the fun!
To make the Milksicles I had to get all of the ingredients. I needed a blender, 10oz. pineapple with the syrup, 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of vanilla frozen yogurt and a 2 oz Popsicle mold (This recipe* called for strawberries, but pineapple is one of my favorite fruits so I decided to use that instead. You can try these with your favorite fruit!).
Here’s how I made them:
• I poured my pineapple in the blender
• Next I poured the milk in. The milk was easy for me to get because I live on a dairy!
• Then I added the frozen yogurt
• The next step was to blend all the ingredients until they were smooth
• The next step was to pour it into 12 Popsicle molds
• The last step was to put them in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours
Milksicles are basically Popsicles with milk and fruit. It was really fun to make the Milksicles. I suggest you try them. It is also a great snack because June is National Dairy Month!
