Smoothies; banana, strawberry, pineapple the choices are endless. Smoothies are great ways to stay healthy but they also taste good too. Whenever you are hungry and wondering what you should eat, grab a smoothie, sit down and slurp up the healthiness. Healthy smoothies are good for you because they contain a low-fat milk base. Fruits and veggies contribute vitamin A, vitamin C, fiber, potassium and antioxidants to smoothies. They aren’t even that hard to make!

Here is one easy way to make a smoothie.

Ingredients

•1 banana
•2 tbsp yogurt
• frozen berries
•1/2 glass of milk

Step 1: Blend the Smoothie

Add half a glass of milk and some chopped banana to a blender and blend well. Add a handful of frozen berries. Blend again until there is a nice, smooth consistency. Serve.

    Yes… very easy to do. I find that Greek yogurt (such as FAGE) works extremely well in smoothies while also packing in plenty of protein.
