At my school we have a Fuel Up to Play 60 Team and it is really cool! We have weekly meetings where we talk about different ways that we can get our school more involved in Fuel Up to Play 60.
When my Program Advisor had the idea to have a Fuel Up to Play 60 Team I thought that it would be really fun, and it is! If you want to get a Fuel Up To Play 60 Team at your school, talk to a teacher and ask them to be a Program Advisor. They will probably help you to get a group of kids together so you can get your team started.
At my school we are doing a BRAX Fuel Up Cups fundraiser. BRAX Fuel Up Cups are really AWESOME cups that have sports teams’ designs on them. We are selling BRAX cups to help purchase signs for our walking path. Our team worked to make cool signs to put up around school to promote our fundraiser.
Last week we also had a super AWESOME event at school! We did “Jousting for Heart”! My Program Advisor got a blow up jousting platform and we jousted on it! It was really fun! In our Fuel Up to Play 60 Team meeting we made a huge sign to put up for “Jousting for Heart”.

That’s really cool! We have student council meetings that double as Fuel up to Play 60 meetings too! I think that it sounds like a lot of fun to have a jousting event!
