Even though I live in Wisconsin, I follow in my Dad’s footsteps and love the Dallas Cowboys. With that being said, I enjoy watching ALL of the teams in the NFL play. Here are some highlights that I’m especially looking forward to this year.

  • After having such a great rookie season, it will be interesting to see if Zeke and Dak of the Dallas Cowboys can avoid the “Sophomore Slump”.
  • How will Eddie Lacy do in Seattle? He came from the Green Bay Packers as a free agent. It will be cool to see how he performs behind a different offense.
  • How will Marshawn Lynch do coming out of retirement? He’s playing for the Oakland Raiders but retired from the Seattle Seahawks. He is from Oakland which is why he chose to play for them. It will be interesting to see what happens as the Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas next season.
  • I have my eye on Jaylon Smith, whom the Dallas Cowboys picked up in the second round of the draft. This is a steal considering he was projected as one of the best linebackers in the draft until his unfortunate knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl. Many believed he would never play again.
  • Christian McCaffrey is one of the best running backs to come out of college this year who can catch and run the ball out of the back field. He’s playing for the Carolina Panthers. Cam Newton should have a better year with the help of Christian.
  • It’s also cool to see a former Wisconsin Badger, Travis Frederick play for the Dallas Cowboys. He is a FUTP 60 NFL Player Ambassador as well!

Can’t wait to see what two teams play in the Super Bowl this season and get to play in that amazing U.S. Bank Stadium we were just at for the Student Ambassador Summit!
