I’ve been the MN State Representative for six months now. Through Fuel Up to Play 60 I have met so many people and made many new friends. I have met many of the kids that write on The Huddle, and they are really nice! We are all working towards the same goal: to promote healthy eating and regular exercise for all kids. You don’t have to be a star athlete or totally into sports to be a Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador. Fuel Up to Play 60 is a program for everyone!
All of the Ambassadors and Representatives come from a wide variety of backgrounds. It’s been really fun to see how we all work together towards a common goal.
I have been given so many amazing opportunities the past six months. I have been to a Vikings football game, interviewed the head coach, met professional football players, attended fun conferences, traveled, and I have learned so much!!! I encourage each of you reading this to apply to be a Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador and to have your friends apply too. By commiting to this program and taking action, you will be rewarded with good health, making new friends, and getting to do fun things you normally would never get to do! It’s up to you to take the first step and apply by February 8th. I have enjoyed every opportunity I’ve been given through Fuel Up to Play 60. So will you! Remember, Action + Commitment = Success!
i think that it is wonderful that kids get to meet their favorite football player, from a kids point of view it is the best thing because kids always fantasize about meeting a celebrity or favorite atholete and i would i am a kid thx NFL.
