I have a relatively strange taste in vegetables. Some of my favorite foods make my friends gag, like Brussels sprouts, but I love them. But my best friend thought that I was crazy until I explained to her that my mom made them differently then her mom did. So I let her try them the way my mom makes them. Guess what, now she loves them! So always remember that there is more than one way to have almost anything.

My school needs some help with meap our snack before the MEAP was a “whole grain” poptart! this isn’t right! I plan on talking to someone about it at a meeting.

Cassidy, you are very mature and smart because it is true that sometimes we don’t know that it can taste better if we get creative. At my school, kids don’t realize that fruits are actually good. They think because it looks funny that it doesn’t taste good, but that’s not true. I always try things before I make a decision.

That is so true! I love the way my aunt makes Brussels sprouts! It’s not “gaggy” (well, at least to me).
