Hi everyone! I’m Ariella, your 2013 Florida Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador. To be an Ambassador for something I really believe in has had such a positive impact on my life, is very exciting, and makes me feel like I am making a difference in the lives of my friends, family, and community. I am proud to be your State Ambassador because I have such a passion for being healthy and I love to share that passion with my peers! I hope you all enjoy my very own Fuel Up to Play 60 challenge and a Healthy Smoothie recipe!

My challenge is about exciting words that describe Fuel Up To Play 60! As shown in the picture, I used letter tiles from a board game named Bananagrams! But you can use anything that has letter tiles! So the objective of this challenge is to come up with as many words that describe this wonderful program as you possibly can. What makes this challenge interesting is that you have to use your own words and make it into a crossword puzzle! I started out with my state capital, because it’s a very long word. So I took “Tallahassee,” and started adding on to it. Be creative and make it your own, have fun with it!

My healthy smoothie recipe consists of so many healthy ingredients! Smoothies are quick, easy, fun and nutritious to make! The ingredients and items you need to make this Power Up Smoothie are the following:

– Spinach (yes, spinach!)
– 1 banana
– Orange juice
– 1 and 1/2 cup of Vanilla Yogurt
– 1/4 cup of each of the following: Strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries
– Blender

Step 1: Take all of the ingredients and put it into a blender
Step 2: Blend all of the ingredients until it liquefies
Step 3: Enjoy your healthy Smoothie!

Here’s a tip: If you want to make this drink even colder, you can add ice to your drink

I hope you all enjoy my activity and My Power Up Smoothie! Don’t forget to Fuel Up with nutritious foods so that you can play for 60 minutes a day!
