Recently my twin brother Blake and I were notified that we were selected as Idaho State Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassadors. When our parents shared the news, we were surprised that not just one but both of us were selected! Blake is my best friend and it will be awesome to attend the Student Ambassador Summit in Chicago with him this summer.
There are many things that I am looking forward to experiencing at the Summit. I feel that I could develop stronger leadership skills. As a Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador for my school, increasing my skills would be helpful. I also read that the Ambassadors will get to make healthy recipes. I am not very good at cooking, so I am excited to learn some cooking skills. I will be headed to middle school this coming fall, so having strength in these areas will be beneficial for me.
I am also excited to meet other Fuel Up to Play Ambassadors from other states. Looking at pictures from past Summits, it looks like everyone had a great time. How cool will it be to know that I have made friends from across the nation? It will also be fun to have the opportunity to meet some NFL football players. My absolute dream would be to have a football game with them. I could show them my awesome gridiron skills. Actually, they would probably school me, but it would be fun to try!
