The week after I got back from the Fuel Up to Play 60 Ambassador Summit, I was busy! First, I talked to Beth Bruck-Upton, my local dairy representative from Midwest Dairy, about what my school is going to do. The Fuel Up to Play 60 program in my school is trying to start a school breakfast program. After my talk with Beth, I proposed the plan to Fr. Goodwin, our superintendent. I was hoping that he would consider letting the students have a Grab-and-Go breakfast program because we start our school day very early…7:40! We have to wait a while for lunch and we thought the breakfast program would help our students. Fr. Goodwin accepted my breakfast proposal and we will have breakfast at St. John’s this school year!
