Let me tell you that being a Dallas Cowboys fan is rough – especially living in Wisconsin! When our school would host a green and gold day, I would proudly support my team by wearing my Cowboys jersey. No matter what people say, I stay true to my team!
One of my favorite players hails from Burlington, WI. Can you guess who that is? That’s right! The one, the only, Tony Romo #9! As a veteran quarterback he demonstrates leadership and communication both on and off the field.
Demarco Murray showed dedication to his team and fans by playing one week after having surgery on his hand which expressed his love for football. This year Christmas came early for the Cowboys offensive line when Demarco gave them each iMacs!
Jason Witten is a great role model because he launched the SCORE Foundation, which supports families in domestic violence situations.
Dez Bryant had a rough upbringing but turned his life around and is a great role model for kids, displaying how to never give up. He is a really good all-around offensive player and is fun to watch!
At last year’s Student Ambassador Summit at the Cowboys’ Stadium I was lucky enough to meet Kyle Wilber. It was awesome of him to take time out of his demanding schedule to show support of the Fuel Up To Play 60 program.
It was also a huge honor to meet the three time Super Bowl Champ, Troy Aikman. He was one of my dad’s idols growing up!
These are just a few examples of why the Dallas Cowboys are not only MY team but America’s team!!

I love how you keep dreaming when everyone else is different from you.
I love the Broncos, and even when they lost the Super Bowl last year I stayed a proud supporter! I love it when people stay true to their team! I’m not a Cowboys fan but, I’m glad you support your team when people think you shouldn’t! Don’t forget to… FUEL UP TO PLAY 60!! 🙂
