This is Gregory M., the State Ambassador for Wyoming! My twin, Patrick, and I have been very busy with getting a new student team together that will be putting on events for my school for Fuel Up to Play 60. We are super excited to get the program going for the year, and my team is definitely all in!

Now that we have a team, the first thing we need to do is get the word out about the program throughout the school this fall. What better way to do this than our local Wellness Fair?

The Wellness Fair at my school consists of many different stations that all students go to in the span of a school day (at your school it may in a different format, be called a different name, or you may not even have one). Half of them are active stations like volleyball with super-sized balls or kickball. The other half is made of stations that talk about health. Some examples of these are fire-truck safety, injury care and prevention, and healthy eating.

We are going to be one of the presenters at our Wellness Fair. It’s a great opportunity for Fuel Up to Play 60 at my school because it will tie right into the Wellness Fair idea and everyone at our school will see our presentation, making them excited about the program! Another option is to put on the Wellness Fair as a Fuel Up to Play 60 event! If you have a student team at your school and you are looking for a way to promote Fuel Up To Play 60, presenting or hosting a local Wellness Fair could be one of your best options!
