Just because its summer doesn’t mean that you should sit on the couch, watch television, or play video games all day. There are tons of things you could do. It’s usually hot outside during summer, so you should ask your parents for a pool so that you can get in it whenever you like! If you can’t get a pool, then go to one. Get your parents or another adult you know to take you to the nearest pool. Getting active is important; you should have at least 60 minutes of physical activity every day. I suggest riding a bike or scooter around your neighborhood, it is fun and a great way to get active.

These activities are also good for you: playing sports, running at a nearby track, jump roping, hiking, walking, climbing, playing at a park, or just dancing for fun. If you ever want to sit down and watch television, then exercise during commercials. Commercials are usually long, so if you exercise during them then it could be healthier to watch it. And don’t forget to fuel up with plenty of water and healthy foods!
