Do you enjoy being a part of Fuel Up to Play 60 and want to take more of a leadership role in your school and community? Then maybe you should apply to be a Student Ambassador!

What is a Student Ambassador? A Student Ambassador is someone kids can look up to as a role model and demonstrates leadership in their school and community. A Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador should be very active in the program, understand how it works, and want to make a real difference.

If you are thinking about being a Student Ambassador, there are three things you should know: 1.) Student Ambassadors should be outgoing and be able to handle a big responsibility. 2.) Student Ambassadors must always set a good example and motivate kids to be involved in extra-curriculars and participate in Fuel Up to Play 60 activities. 3.) Student Ambassadors should genuinely enjoy the program and want to make a difference. Anyone who wants to inspire change should apply to be a Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador. I am so glad I did!

I am proud to say that I am Wisconsin’s Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador. Being a Student Ambassador has given me many opportunities that I could have never imagined. After being chosen as a State Representative, I was invited to Washington D.C. for the Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Ambassador Summit. At the summit, I met so many amazing people and gained new leadership skills and knowledge about the program. After that Summit, I was invited to Wisconsin’s Fuel Up to Play 60 MVP Summit where I again gained more knowledge about the program and heard local success stories. Just recently, I was interviewed on a local TV station about Fuel Up to Play 60 and being a Student Ambassador! I will never be able to express my full gratitude to the program for how much it has done for me, and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

If you are thinking about applying to be a Student Ambassador, I can honestly say that you won’t regret it. Talk to your Fuel Up to Play 60 Program Advisor about being a Student Ambassador. The deadline is February 8th, so please apply soon. Next year, you could be in my shoes!
