First, thank you to Mr. Delwarth and Mr. Manley!

Let’s all take a moment to think about our principals. This month is Thank a Principal Month. If you get a chance, stop and thank your principal. My old principal attended the 2015 Student Ambassador Summit with me, and then I got a new principal at my new school. Mr. Delwarth, my old principal, had a challenge because he was the high school and the middle school principal, but he tried his best to get the whole school involved!

Mr. Manley, my new principal, is hard working. My dad and I had a meeting with him about Fuel Up to Play 60 and he was really interested in it. He helped me set up a booth and helped distribute flyers to get the word out about Fuel Up to Play 60 at my back-to-school night! My principals have put a lot into Fuel Up to Play 60 and I didn’t realize that until recently.

Principals do a lot for us, but we don’t realize that. Do something creative or thoughtful for your principal. Make them feel appreciated!
