Hmmm… when I first got this email it got me to thinking… I have gotten into a lot of activities but it’s hard to specify what sport has had the greatest impact on me, so I will just do the latter! Being a wrestler has made me understand that losing is just something you will have to deal with in life…get knocked down then you gotta stand up and laugh, and if you wanna do more do what I was taught to do. Say ‘Too easy!’ because that’s the kind of spirit you need to have out in the world. Football has taught me to work with teams and as a group and not an individual, because if it is just one man pulling the weight then you will never go anywhere! And finally, when I did my school’s musical I learned that stereotypes aren’t true. People give out names such as theatre geek or nerd but they never truly understand just how many experiences it gives you. It changed my view on it all so maybe it can change yours! Thanks for the support guys!

I think that its dumb. If you like something you shouldn’t be bullied for it!

You know your right! You just have to learn to deal with the fact that in life you cant always win. You’ve got to be a good sport and say “Good job, you did great!”

I think its cool you do multiple sports. I do too, but my main, best, and favorite is cross country running! We train in a team, but when its race time, I get so extremely competitive! What I’m saying is that its great you do many sports, I do too, but you do a lot of individual and team sports, which is great!

Hello Alex! I think wrestling is really cool, but football is my choice of sport because you feel awesome playing on the field with your gear. I had to overcome the fear of being injured. I have to admit that it runs through my mind. I am confident that everytime I play , I need to remember what the coaches teach me about technique and playing SMART! I know that when I follow technique I can’t lose. I agree with footballl being about a team effort. I learned that you can’t win a game in football without the TEAM!! There really is no I in TEAM. Kepp up the great job.

I love golf because I do better when I focus. Golf has made a huge impact on me because when I am out on the golf course, nothing else matters except my concentration. Self-discipline is what I have learned from golfing. It’s a way to vent all of your frustrations and clear your mind. I love golf!!!

Alex, I really liked that you told yourself “Too Easy.” I thought that was good because some kids or students don’t have a positive look at life.
Some of the things that happen at their home effects them. And it is really sad. This one girl at my school always has her head down when she walks into the school in the morning. Now I’m not giving names, but she is the funnest friend you could have.

Now back to sports. I really like volleyball. At my school you couldn’t do volleyball until you were in 7th grade. I always went to the volleyball camps they had in the summer and had a blast. Some students don’t get motivated to do sports. Some random person can change that for them by just telling them that they are doing good and to keep up the good work.
